The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 76% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, Iran (X tons) constituted the largest non-cellular polypropylene film supplier to Iraq, accounting for a 57% share of total imports.
