Overall, imports saw slight growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 142% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, imports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. Imports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
