Plastic or non-precious metal watch imports into Iraq fell to X units in 2022, with a decrease of -12.1% compared with 2021 figures. In general, imports, however, recorded noticeable growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 100% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, plastic or non-precious metal watch imports reached $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 78%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
