Costa Rica (X tons), Belize (X tons) and the Dominican Republic (X tons) were the main suppliers of banana imports to Ireland, together accounting for 92% of total imports. Nicaragua, Ecuador, Colombia and Honduras lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 4.9%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Nicaragua (with a CAGR of +89.7%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
