In 2022, purchases abroad of suspension systems decreased by 0% to X tons, falling for the fifth consecutive year after three years of growth. Over the period under review, imports showed a moderate increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 27% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, suspension system imports stood at $X in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a tangible increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 24%.
