In 2021, approx. X tons of bridges, bridge sections, towers and lattice masts (of iron or steel) were imported into Israel; which is down by -11.9% compared with 2020. Overall, imports, however, showed a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when imports increased by 1,211% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, bridge imports shrank to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, recorded a significant expansion.
