Green Coffee Market Size in Israel

In 2022, the Israeli green coffee market increased by 23% to $X, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. Over the period under review, consumption recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 347% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

The UK (X tons), Canada (X tons) and France (X tons) were the main destinations of green coffee exports from Israel, together accounting for 74% of total exports.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, green coffee export price increased by +61.6% against 2019 indices. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Romania ($X per ton) and Belgium ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Serbia ($X per ton) and Canada ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Serbia (+20.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Israel

In 2022, green coffee imports into Israel dropped to X tons, waning by -11.3% on the previous year's figure. Overall, imports saw a pronounced descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 40% against the previous year.
