The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 289% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X units, and then shrank rapidly in the following year.

In value terms, exports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments fell sharply to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a resilient expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 323%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X, and then declined markedly in the following year.

Canada (X units) was the main destination for exports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments from Israel, accounting for a 51% share of total exports. Moreover, exports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments to Canada exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, the UK (X units), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by the United States (X units), with a 16% share.

Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 210% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units, and then reduced notably in the following year.

In value terms, imports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments shrank sharply to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a prominent expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 453%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then plummeted in the following year.
