Overall, imports recorded a noticeable downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 29%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, dried mushroom imports fell dramatically to $X in 2022. In general, imports showed a noticeable decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 22% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2021, and then fell significantly in the following year.

China (X tons), Poland (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of dried mushroom imports to Israel, together comprising 84% of total imports. Chile and Ukraine lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 14%.
