Soft Drink Market Size in Israel

After two years of growth, purchases abroad of soft drinks decreased by -6.6% to X litres in 2021. In general, imports, however, showed a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 44% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X litres, and then shrank in the following year.

In value terms, soft drink imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a resilient expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 35%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

In 2021, Poland (X litres) constituted the largest soft drink supplier to Israel, with a 23% share of total imports. Moreover, soft drink imports from Poland exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X litres), twofold. Turkey (X litres) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 10% share.
