In value terms, non-medical x-ray imports dropped to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, posted a modest increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 89%. Imports peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, China (X tons) constituted the largest non-medical x-ray supplier to Israel, accounting for a 37% share of total imports. Moreover, non-medical x-ray imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Singapore (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Germany (X tons), with an 11% share.
