Printing Press Market Size in Israel

In 2022, the Israeli printing press market decreased by -61.1% to $X for the first time since 2017, thus ending a four-year rising trend. Overall, consumption, however, saw a tangible increase. Printing press consumption peaked at $X in 2021, and then dropped dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, the United States ($X), the Netherlands ($X) and China ($X) constituted the largest markets for printing press exported from Israel worldwide, with a combined 79% share of total exports. The UK, Singapore, South Korea, Argentina, Mexico and Germany lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 11%.

The UK, with a CAGR of +37.1%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average export price increased by 26% against the previous year. In 2022, approx. X units of printing presses were imported into Israel; dropping by -16.8% compared with the previous year's figure. In general, imports, however, saw a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 95% against the previous year.
