In value terms, reclaimed rubber exports stood at $X in 2021. In general, exports, however, enjoyed strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 6,200% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

China (X tons) was the main destination for reclaimed rubber exports from Israel, accounting for a 79% share of total exports. Moreover, reclaimed rubber exports to China exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Thailand (X tons), fourfold.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+3.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of reclaimed rubber, when their volume decreased by -45% to X tons. Overall, imports showed a perceptible reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 197% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, reclaimed rubber imports plummeted to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a perceptible slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 138%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

China (X tons) and India (X tons) were the main suppliers of reclaimed rubber imports to Israel.
