Capacitor Market Size in Italy

The Italian capacitor market was finally on the rise to reach $X in 2021, after two years of decline. Over the period under review, consumption continues to indicate a strong increase. As a result, consumption reached the peak level of $X. From 2019 to 2021, the growth of the market remained at a lower figure.

After four years of decline, overseas shipments of electrical capacitors increased by 31% to X tons in 2021. Overall, exports, however, showed a perceptible curtailment. The exports peaked at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, capacitor exports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a slight shrinkage. In terms of the main countries of destination, the Czech Republic, with a CAGR of +50.8%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +4.4% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
