Vietnam (X tons), Thailand (X tons) and France (X tons) were the main destinations of meat meals and pellets exports from Italy, with a combined 50% share of total exports. These countries were followed by the Netherlands, Myanmar, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Philippines, Turkey, Spain, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Poland, which together accounted for a further 36%.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when the average export price increased by 28%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2014 to 2021, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Cambodia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
