From 2012 to 2018, the biggest increases were recorded for the Netherlands (with a CAGR of +260.0%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The second position in the ranking was taken by Australia ($X), with a 9.3% share of total exports. It was followed by the United Arab Emirates, with a 7.9% share.
From 2012 to 2018, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to the United States amounted to -2.0%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Australia (+71.3% per year) and the United Arab Emirates (-3.4% per year).

In 2018, the average aircraft propeller export price amounted to $X per ton, growing by 25% against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a strong expansion. In 2018, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in purchases abroad of propellers and rotors for civil non-powered aircraft, helicopters and aeroplanes, when their volume decreased by -40.9% to X tons. Over the period under review, imports showed a abrupt descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 30% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2018, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, aircraft propeller imports fell to $X in 2018. Overall, imports saw a deep downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 42% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2018, imports failed to regain momentum.
Imports by Country
In 2018, Austria (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of aircraft propeller to Italy, with a 43% share of total imports. Moreover, aircraft propeller imports from Austria exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the United States (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Germany (X tons), with a 12% share.
