Television Receiver Market Size in Italy

The Italian television receiver market shrank sharply to $X in 2022, declining by -26.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, consumption, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, consumption attained the peak level of $X, and then dropped sharply in the following year.

The average television receiver export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, surging by 4.9% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a drastic downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 33% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Romania ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Denmark ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 95%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units, and then declined rapidly in the following year.

In value terms, television receiver imports dropped dramatically to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest television receiver supplier to Italy, with a 45% share of total imports.
