Chlorates, bromates and iodates imports into Japan skyrocketed to X tons in 2021, surging by 24% on the previous year. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a perceptible reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 268% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, chlorates, bromates and iodates imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, showed a abrupt decrease.
