Coffee Substitutes Market Size in Japan

The Japanese coffee substitutes market expanded slightly to $X in 2022, growing by 4.4% against the previous year. In general, imports recorded a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 1,736% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, coffee substitutes imports shrank markedly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports saw a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 919%. Imports peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
