The United States (X units), the United Arab Emirates (X units) and Russia (X units) were the main destinations of off-highway dumper exports from Japan, together comprising 53% of total exports. These countries were followed by Indonesia, Belgium, Australia, the Philippines, South Africa and Myanmar, which together accounted for a further 33%.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Belgium (with a CAGR of +28.7%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest markets for off-highway dumper exported from Japan were the United States ($X), Russia ($X) and Indonesia ($X), with a combined 57% share of total exports. Overall, export price indicated tangible growth from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.9% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. In 2021, imports of dumpers for off-highway use into Japan skyrocketed to X units, rising by 60% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
