Taiwan (Chinese) (X units), Malaysia (X units) and Thailand (X units) were the main destinations of mould for glass exports from Japan, together accounting for 74% of total exports. The Philippines, the United States, Austria, Finland and China lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 25%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Austria (with a CAGR of +22.4%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.
In value terms, Thailand ($X) remains the key foreign market for moulds for glass exports from Japan, comprising 43% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Philippines ($X), with a 16% share of total exports. It was followed by Malaysia, with an 8.9% share.

China (X units), Thailand (X units) and Taiwan (Chinese) (X units) were the main suppliers of mould for glass imports to Japan, together comprising 83% of total imports. Croatia, Italy, South Korea and the United States lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 13%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Italy (with a CAGR of +45.3%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
