In value terms, non-electric roasting furnace imports declined to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 55% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest non-electric roasting furnace supplier to Japan, accounting for a 20% share of total imports.
