Over the period under review, imports of hit record highs at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, imports of pulp from fibres other than wood surged to $X in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.0% over the period from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years.
