Women Hosiery Market Size in Japan

In 2022, the Japanese women hosiery market increased by 8.7% to $X, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. Over the period under review, consumption, however, showed a pronounced slump. Women hosiery consumption peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, consumption failed to regain momentum.

Imports peaked at X pairs in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, women hosiery imports rose remarkably to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed a perceptible shrinkage. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
