China (X tons), Vietnam (X tons) and the United Arab Emirates (X tons) were the main destinations of man-made filament fabric exports from Japan, with a combined 61% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Hong Kong SAR, Kuwait and the United States, which together accounted for a further 23%.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Thailand (with a CAGR of +9.6%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
