For the third consecutive year, Jordan recorded decline in purchases abroad of glass fibres and glass wool, which decreased by -12.5% to X tons in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a abrupt decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 38%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, glass fibres and wool imports reduced remarkably to $X in 2022. Overall, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern.
