In value terms, Saudi Arabia ($X), Bahrain ($X) and Kuwait ($X) constituted the largest markets for green peas exported from Jordan worldwide, together comprising 77% of total exports.

Saudi Arabia, with a CAGR of +49.3%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the countries with the highest prices were Qatar ($X per ton) and Bahrain ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to the United Arab Emirates ($X per ton) and Kuwait ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Lebanon (+31.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 496% against the previous year.
