In 2022, the amount of vegetables (preserved, frozen) imported into Jordan shrank to X tons, with a decrease of -13.4% on the year before. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a strong expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 36% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, preserved and frozen vegetable imports declined to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a prominent increase.
