Carbides Market Size in Kazakhstan

In 2022, after three years of decline, there was significant growth in the Kazakh carbides market, when its value increased by 7.2% to $X. In general, consumption, however, recorded a pronounced decline. Carbides consumption peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, consumption stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Russia totaled +5.2%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Uzbekistan (-10.1% per year) and the United Arab Emirates (0.0% per year).

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 3,569% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
