Russia (X units), China (X units) and Hong Kong SAR (X units) were the main destinations of electronic chip exports from Kazakhstan, together accounting for 52% of total exports. Canada, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Angola, the UK, Spain and France lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 31%.

In 2021, Russia (X units) constituted the largest electronic chip supplier to Kazakhstan, accounting for a 35% share of total imports. In terms of the main suppliers, the United Arab Emirates, with a CAGR of +38.6%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The average electronic chip import price stood at $X per unit in 2021, growing by 99.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded tangible growth. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($X per unit), while the price for Slovenia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
