In general, exports saw a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 90%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X tons in 2020, and then shrank notably in the following year.

In value terms, furnace burner exports contracted dramatically to $X in 2021. Overall, exports saw a abrupt slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 103% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Exports by Country

The United Arab Emirates (X tons) was the main destination for furnace burner exports from Kazakhstan, with a 62% share of total exports. Moreover, furnace burner exports to the United Arab Emirates exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Russia (X tons), twofold.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to the United Arab Emirates totaled +11.7%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Russia (-9.6% per year) and Kyrgyzstan (+1.3% per year).

Overall, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 58%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
