Over the period under review, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 an increase of 80%. The export price peaked at $X per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Poland ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In value terms, video monitor imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a noticeable increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +2.8% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 97%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of video monitor to Kazakhstan, with a 68% share of total imports. Moreover, video monitor imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Russia (X units), tenfold. The Czech Republic (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 3.9% share.
