In value terms, plastic ornamental articles imports dropped significantly to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 106% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2022, China (X tons) constituted the largest plastic ornamental articles supplier to Kazakhstan, with a 73% share of total imports. Moreover, plastic ornamental articles imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Russia (X tons), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Uzbekistan (X tons), with a 4.5% share.
