Russia (X tons) was the main destination for whole fresh milk exports from Kazakhstan, accounting for a 74% share of total exports. Moreover, whole fresh milk exports to Russia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Uzbekistan (X tons), fivefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Kyrgyzstan (X tons), with a 7.5% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Russia totaled +24.7%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Uzbekistan (+56.5% per year) and Kyrgyzstan (+10.0% per year).

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Iran (with a CAGR of +160.5%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced a decline.
