Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate perceptible growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 247%. Imports peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, aircraft imports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, imports saw resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 912%. Imports peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

The United States (X units), Israel (X units) and Tanzania (X units) were the main suppliers of aircraft imports to Kenya, with a combined 58% share of total imports.
