Sudan (X tons) was the main destination for chicken meat exports from Kenya, accounting for a 50% share of total exports. Moreover, chicken meat exports to Sudan exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Democratic Republic of the Congo (X tons), fivefold. Somalia (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with an 8.2% share.
