The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 150% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, combine harvester imports rose remarkably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a noticeable curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of 257% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest combine harvester supplier to Kenya, with a 21% share of total imports. Moreover, combine harvester imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, South Africa (X units), fourfold.
