In 2022, purchases abroad of dried prunes decreased by -2.7% to X tons for the first time since 2015, thus ending a six-year rising trend. Over the period under review, imports, however, posted perceptible growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 134% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then reduced modestly in the following year.
