Uganda (X kg), Tanzania (X kg) and the Netherlands (X kg) were the main destinations of electrical fuse exports from Kenya, together comprising 67% of total exports. These countries were followed by South Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Burundi, Zambia, Rwanda and the UK, which together accounted for a further 23%.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+10.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 26% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, electrical fuse imports stood at $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, recorded a deep setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 21% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

India (X tons), China (X tons) and Japan (X tons) were the main suppliers of electrical fuse imports to Kenya, together comprising 97% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Japan (with a CAGR of +29.0%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced a decline.
