In value terms, frozen potato exports declined remarkably to $X in 2021. Overall, exports, however, enjoyed a measured expansion. In 2021, frozen potato imports into Kenya totaled X tons, growing by 11% against 2020. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed a prominent increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 214%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, frozen potato imports rose remarkably to $X in 2021. In general, imports enjoyed a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 94% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
