Rwanda (X tons) was the main destination for concrete tile exports from Kenya, accounting for a 74% share of total exports. Moreover, concrete tile exports to Rwanda exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, South Sudan (X tons), sixfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Uganda (X tons), with an 8.7% share.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 315% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, concrete tile imports fell sharply to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 312% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, the United Arab Emirates (X tons) constituted the largest concrete tile supplier to Kenya, with a 50% share of total imports. Moreover, concrete tile imports from the United Arab Emirates exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, India (X tons), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Uganda (X tons), with an 11% share.
