Saudi Arabia (X tons), Tanzania (X tons) and Uganda (X tons) were the main destinations of glass fiber exports from Kenya, with a combined 84% share of total exports. Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Sudan lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 13%.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 122% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. In 2021, China (X tons) constituted the largest glass fiber supplier to Kenya, with a 74% share of total imports. Moreover, glass fiber imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, India (X tons), more than tenfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Egypt (X tons), with a 4.4% share.
