In value terms, Saudi Arabia ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for woolen fabric exports from Kenya, comprising 77% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Seychelles ($X), with an 11% share of total exports. It was followed by Rwanda, with a 9.3% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Saudi Arabia totaled -32.9%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Seychelles (0.0% per year) and Rwanda (-18.3% per year).

From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
