In 2022, the amount of non-electric air heaters or hot air distributors imported into Kuwait expanded rapidly to X units, with an increase of 8.9% against the previous year. In general, imports continue to indicate prominent growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 87% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, non-electric air heater imports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 84% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

China (X units), Japan (X units) and Italy (X units) were the main suppliers of non-electric air heater imports to Kuwait, together comprising 51% of total imports. Lebanon, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, the UK, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, Finland and Spain lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 41%.

Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
