After two years of decline, the Kuwaiti egg product market increased by 7.4% to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, consumption posted a remarkable increase. Egg product consumption peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, consumption remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, imports of egg products into Kuwait surged to X tons, growing by 72% on the previous year. Overall, total imports indicated a strong increase from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +7.7% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 11%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton, and then fell dramatically in the following year.
