The United Arab Emirates (X pairs) was the main destination for gloves exports from Kuwait, with a 6.2% share of total exports. Moreover, gloves exports to the United Arab Emirates exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Oman (X pairs), fivefold. Bahrain (X pairs) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 0.9% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to the United Arab Emirates totaled +15.4%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Oman (-6.9% per year) and Bahrain (-9.5% per year).

In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for gloves, mittens and mitts (excluding knitted or crocheted) exports from Kuwait, comprising 35% of total exports.
