Exports from Kuwait

In 2022, approx. X tons of plums and sloes were exported from Kuwait; declining by -6.9% on 2021 figures. Overall, exports recorded a deep slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when exports increased by 106%. In value terms, Lebanon ($X) constituted the largest supplier of plums and sloes to Kuwait, comprising 32% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Australia ($X), with a 13% share of total imports. It was followed by Tunisia, with a 13% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Lebanon amounted to +22.5%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Australia (+24.4% per year) and Tunisia (+4.8% per year).
