Moreover, pneumatic elevator exports to Oman exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Saudi Arabia (X units), ninefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Iran (X units), with a 6.7% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to the United Arab Emirates stood at +15.5%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Bahrain (-11.1% per year) and Oman (+10.3% per year).

Overall, imports, however, showed resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 376%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2021, and then shrank markedly in the following year.

In value terms, pneumatic elevator imports dropped dramatically to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 632% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then dropped remarkably in the following year.

Norway (X units), Sweden (X units) and China (X units) were the main suppliers of pneumatic elevator imports to Kuwait, together comprising 85% of total imports.
