The Kuwaiti market for PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings dropped to $X in 2022, reducing by -14.4% against the previous year. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 728% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports of remained at a lower figure.

Iraq (X square meters) was the main destination for exports of PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings from Kuwait, accounting for a 60% share of total exports. Moreover, exports of PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings to Iraq exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, India (X square meters), fourfold. The United Arab Emirates (X square meters) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 14% share.

Over the period under review, imports, however, showed prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by 95% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports of attained the maximum at X square meters in 2021, and then dropped remarkably in the following year.

Germany, France, Slovenia, Saudi Arabia, Hungary and Serbia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 16%.
