The exports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The UK (X units), France (X units) and the United States (X units) were the main destinations of radar apparatus exports from Kuwait, with a combined 92% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by France (with a CAGR of +37.3%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, overseas purchases of radar apparatus, radio navigational aid apparatus and radio remote control apparatus increased by 48% to X units, rising for the second consecutive year after five years of decline. In general, imports enjoyed prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 505% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, radar apparatus imports declined sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed a mild expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 485%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then dropped dramatically in the following year.
